Special Place

This is truly a "special" place. Good eats, friendly staff. I'd definitely return! The price is right too.

I have visited this restaurant quite a few times when I am in the area, and I truly believe that it is a "special place" in the rural area of Elizabethville.  Here is why:

Quality of Food:
All of the food at the Special Place is homemade and all dinners come with at least two sides (some with three).  The menu is fairly extensive for smaller restaurant, and their seafood is very good and their Italian dishes are also respectable for the area.  The sides are also tasty, and their deserts are delicious.  I also enjoy their homemade bread that is brought out with every meal.

Service and Atmosphere:
The special place has a cozy homey atmosphere.  The dining area is not fancy or big, but it reminds you of eating in someone's home.  The staff is very friendly and courteous.

Price:
For the area, the Special Place is a little more than other local establishments, but it is worth it.  Dinners start at around $7, but seafood can get in the $13-18 range.

Overall, try the Special Place!  You won't regret it!
