Sphinx Hookah Lounge

*Update: drove about 60 miles to see it was closed :( hours posted from 7p.m-3a.m. We arrived at 12:30. Then again it closed early the last time we were there. Best to call in advance. Hate to change the 5 star to 4. Going to try again tonight!:)

Was here during MLK on a Saturday night with my friend. It was happening inside and was told we may have to come another night. I explained we were visiting from Cali & the owner Pete stepped up and assured us he will get us a table!
We followed him inside. We noticed the ambience and the clientele were young party seekers dancing to a live dj. Pete had cleared up an area just for us. He explained everything in detail about his business and we came on a crazy night. We didn't mind too much (but it was a little much lol). He explained the lounge is set up in a more casual setting. Very friendly he showed us pretty much all samples of hookah and non-tobacco flavors.
Pete is very helpful and was keen on making sure our hookahs were flowing. If it wasn't for the great hospitality I'm sure we would have turned around.
Going back tonight to enjoy another great hookah with my friend. We're looking forward to seeing Sphinx in a more Egyptian atmosphere and with Pete's amazing hand made furniture:) He truly went above and beyond. If other places had the same mindset as Pete, businesses would really be booming and could make this planet a lot happier!
