This place has the crappiest service. Waited 2 hrs for table even though the parking lot was less than half full. Got a table, the waitress took our order and 30 mins later no food. We asked our waitress "oh, didn't the front tell you? We are running behind. ". Hello..you could have said something!! Another 30+ for food.  She offered us chips, but when we declined, she shoved them on another table. Crappy... Oh, and it is a Tuesday night. Completely ridiculous.

Some friends and I went to Spinnaker's after a day on the beach. It was amazing, the breeze was nice and cool, the view was amazing and the food was great. Our waitress was friendly, personable and kind. Service was quick (but not so fast as to rush us). The drinks were perfectly blended and it was an amazing atmosphere for a fun dinner out with friends! The prices were not bad either

Don't eat the burgers! They went downhill.
Tasted like frozen meat, no flavor. Very disappointing. The service and view are 5 stars. Burgers are 1 star. $11.00 and threw it away. Put some salt and pepper in your meat. The bun was bad also. Get a different meat distributor. Too thick and nasty taste. I don't know about other menu items but stay away from the burgers.

Omg Tony the bartender makes the best mojitos!! You have to try them and tip him well so he can ring the bell. Lol
An the chicken sliders are to die for!!!
Undoubtably the key lime pie is incredible :)
But the customer service is what makes the picture perfect scene. Aside from one bad apple who happens to be the hostess who thinks she's courtney love with her Bad attitude this is definitely a must visit!!

Food is reasonably priced considering it's a tourist destination.

I ate the Grouper fish taco's, which was delicious!

Three Huge taco's and a side salad for $12

Affordable drinks and amazing view over the water.

Great place to hang out or catch a concert

Very helpful and friendly staff, too!

This is one of my all time favorite places to eat and relax when vacationing at Panama City Beach.  The food is absolutely great and I have been hooked on the Hawaiian Burgers for years, the shrimp is also excellent and for an appetizer you should always get the nachos grande.  The servers are great and friendly and so is the management, I have been to the club, new years parties and have done it all there.  This place is highly recommended in my book for some of the best food on the beach and one of the best atmospheres.

My only complaint about this place is the VIP card, I had one for the 2012 year and every time I tried using it, the server would always tell me that I couldn't use it on food purchases.  I found out be asking the manager that the card could be used towards any meal or club purchase.  So technically I was VIP for a year and never got to use my card once (even after eating there 20+ times).  I will deduct a star for this reason and only this reason.

Spinnaker's is one of my favorite places to eat lunch while on vacation in PCB. The outdoor patio and view of the beach are awesome, the servers are friendly and fun, and there is a great laid-back vibe.

And the food is really good! Shocking, coming from what turns into a night club in the evenings, but true. I especially like their fried fish and french fries... Really good stuff

And the drinks aren't bad at all, even if they are a bit weak

    Good times!

    I recommend it.

We had lunch here. LOVED the views! Loved the food and prices. This is one of our new favorite PCB restaurants. Can't wait to return for dinner on our next visit! We even got a complimentary souvenir photo.

Cool really did like it.  Went off season after labor day (I am 27) and just had drinks but still a cool place. I will be returning.  Good for kids not during spring break

This place is great and we had a blast this Fourth of July weekend (yes- not just on spring beak!) They gave us $5 at the door to spend on drinks- Just be careful what you get because I heard early on the alcohol was cheap in the early drinks and made friends stomachs upset! Wait until later- not as cheap, but they're better.

Dancing was great, they had a live band in one area, a lounge in another- and karaoke in another! How could you go wrong?! And, from what I hear, the food is pretty great as well.

Call me cheap, but I get places a little early now so I don't have to pay cover. There were kids there at first because they were eating late with their parents, but it worked out fine because they all have to be gone at a certain time. I can't complain because I set myself up for that!

Anyone of any age WILL have fun here!

First the view is amazing!  They have a great deck where almost all the tables are on the edge by the beach.  So we had a dinner while watching an incredible sunset.
The Food:  My wife and I started with peel and eat shrimp and they were great.  Really large shrimp and cooked perfect.  We each had mahi tacos for dinner and they were good also.  The fish had good flavor and they didn't  skimp, my tacos actually had to be eaten with a fork they broke do the amount of food stuffed in.
The worst part here was the service.  So we wanted to have a couple of drinks, to watch the sunset.  After getting us 1 round of cocktails and water for both of us I never saw the waiter again until we were finished with the meal and I had been setting with out a drink or water for a long time.  I asked for another round, and he only brought us water, so I asked for the check and we left.
The food here is good, the view is great, but the server we had was really bad.   I would go again, because I saw a burger that look great.

I did not eat anything here so 3 stars instead of four. Based on my experience, I am likely to try a meal here on my next trip to PCB. I sat on the outdoor deck/bar area and enjoyed a cigar & a beer. I was there at sunset and the view from the deck was spectacular. The bartenders were friendly and eager to please.
A highlight was the singer, who was fantastic.

Karaoke at night is a lot of fun.

    Piña colada was decent.

    Tuna dip was bad.

To start off we had a forty minute wait to be seated.......after we got seated they came to the table ten minutes later.  We asked them if the service was always so shitty and  of course they said no.  They then offered free chips and salsa which we declined because we wanted nachos for an appetizer then the manager showed up and comped half the meal. Food was good and good size servings. After the wait everything was fine and the server and manager were very apologetic.

Hawaiian burger was awesome and do was the maho tacos. The ahi tuna app was pretty bland and on the verge of being spoiled in another day. (not as fresh as I like my ahi tuna)

Debbie our waitress was very pleasant and the hh specials were good. Had a great view and enjoyed our lunch.

This place is pretty big and it had the feel of a jungle gym or an MC Escher print when i walked in.  There were a TON of stairs, lofts, balconies, rooms, etc.  The menu is large and the food is a step up from applebee's or friday's or the likes.....  The service was slow and poor, but it is kind of what you expect walking into a huge place like this.  The food was decent enough, nothing special by any means, but OK.  They told me that they cook all the burgers the same, to MW.  Mine came out well, but whatever.  It's a pretty cool place, but there is better out there.

We've not been to PCB in several years.  If it hadn't been for friends suggesting we meet at Spinnaker's for dinner, we would have missed a great place.

Having seen the commercials and their website, I thought it was a only party place.  I did learn that the music and party place I remembered is Wed-Sat.  Sun-Tues is only a restaurant on the beach.

We had a great meal with friends and didn't feel rushed for the table.

We ate dinner on 6/18/2012.  Arriving about 6pm, there was no wait for a table.  The parking lot had lots of parking.  The hostess sat us promptly and Amber took our drink order almost immediately with a smile.

Meeting friends for dinner at a new place with a large menu took extra time for us to decide on what to order.  Amber was helpful with suggestions but also understanding that we needed extra time.  She was always there if we needed her but allowed us the time to catch up with friends.

Our meal was cooked wonderful.  The atmosphere was nice and not too loud.  We enjoyed the yoga on the beach from afar.  Lot's of people were enjoying having pictures taken both at dinner and on the beach.  All in all...it's a great place to visit with friends as well as family.

We plan to eat there again before we leave for home.

We were looking for a place to eat lunch. We had a few requirements with that we had someone who wanted sea food, a vegetarian, & a somewhat picky eater. We were all satisfied with the menu at Spinnakers. We had a very nice lunch at a table with a view of the ocean. I would go back whenever we are in town.

We found this place much more to our liking than Schooners.  Much easier to get to and a huge parking lot.  The food was very good and you MUST try the Baby Bakers.  I am big on potatoes and they are great. There must have been ten on my plate along with a tuna steak and cole slaw.  My girl was impressed with the mahi-mahi and mango salsa she ordered.  Kind of weird that the sour cream came in one of those tear open packs that was 4 times the size of the regular packs used for ketchup, and once again packaged tartar sauce-not kitchen made.  Fa-shizzle.  The service was very good (Lindsay) and view of the beach quite stunning.  There are multiple floors and a good sized stage and dance area for later in the evening.  We were there around 6 pm just to eat though it would be a cool place to hear a band.  If I visit PCB again I will stop in to eat here again.  Portions are very good and prices are decent as well.

My favorite place we went to on spring break! After we (smartly) ditched la vela ($45 cover!? I don't think so) and their rude staff, we just walked over to spinnakers. Everyone was nice and cover was only $20. There was a pretty good cover band playing inside and we had a fun time rockin out to some 90s music for a while. As the night wore on it definitely got crowded though. This bar is pretty big too, much bigger than I realized when we first walked in. Apart from the initial stage and 2 bars when you walk in, there's an outdoor area, a big dance floor, more seating and bars everywhere you turn. The night's a little fuzzy... it seemed like such a maze at the time... but it was nice to have places to sit for a while with friends, be right on the beach outside, and also get down on the clubby dance floor spinning top 40 tunes. I would definitely go back here if in PCB again.

I was young, stupid, shirtless, broke, on academic probation and on spring break.

My fraternity brothers and I ate and drank here during the daylight hours.  It was a chill spot....and thus it was a warm up to the night time debauchery at Club La Vela.

    Its a true beach bar.

I visited PCB, Florida a few weeks ago, along with some friends, and I have to say this is one of the better restaurants that I visited. I don't like having to write an essay about how great it is, but if you want great food, great service, drink specials and an acoustic band harmonizing in the background as you enjoy all of these delightful services, I suggest you try this place if you're ever in the area. Oh, and the parking is great...plenty of space.

We spent a week in PCB and with my parents (in their 70's) and my sisters family 9 of us trekked out to Spinnakers.  Waiting for a table, we sat at the bar, we ordered drinks and within 20 mins were seated at the waterfall.
Service was a bit slow but we were in no hurry and the live music was fantastic ( a local guitar played and singer named Derek Givans).  Dinner was awesome!  The grouper was fantastic, and the baby potatoes were great.
The menu was diverse enough to make the seafood eaters and non seafood eaters both happy.  It was a great meal.

Great choice for locals and tourists alike.

I visited Spinnaker's Paradise Grill during the lunch rush, and while the restaurant was busy my party was seated right away and got an excellent table with a marvelous view of beautiful day at Panama City Beach filled with life and movement.

The outdoor seating alongside the beach is a must if weather permits, and is a major positive feature of Spinnaker's. I ordered a cheese burger which was absolutely delicious, one of the best I've had at this type of place on Panama City Beach. The fries were also good and the soft drinks were quite large. The Mrs. had a shrimp salad, which she seemed to enjoy.

We did take issue, however, with the price and amount of the shrimp on the salad. It was $4 for shrimp in the salad, and for this $4 there were a measly FOUR small grilled shrimp, so do beware of that.

The server was friendly and attentive even though she had multiple tables to help. The prices were reasonable and on par with similar restaurants on Panama City Beach.

If you are visiting Panama City Beach for a short time, Spinnaker's would be a great choice for a lunch on the beach (you can even walk up to Spinnaker's from the beach via a boardwalk) and also would be a good choice for a taste of Gulf nightlife in a venue still very visitor-friendly. Locals would be well-served to visit Spinnaker's as well, be it for a weekday lunch or as part of a fun "staycation" on the weekend.

** This review is for the outside bar area only **

My boyfriend's band plays here, so I came three nights in a row to see them. All in all, not bad at all. Lots of parking, and right next to Club La Vela, so if clubbing is your thing, this isn't a bad place to hit up for a meal beforehand. And they do live music just about every night, which is always a good thing in my book.

Food: Pretty darn good. I had hawaiian chicken sliders the first night (teriyaki chicken with provolone and pineapple), and I really liked them. The 2nd night I had a chicken quesadilla (special that night) that was HUGE - I had to split it with someone. It was also really good. The third night I had the fried oyster basket - nice, plump oysters, fried to perfection on the outside yet still just the way a fried oyster should be on the inside. And their fries are really really good.

Drinks: A lot of the standard beers (Bud, Bud Light, Miller Light) are in cans, but the menu doesn't say so. OK by me, but I know that bothers some people. Liquor is what you'd expect, and surprisingly not that expensive. Beachy frozen drinks are available in neat 24oz reusable mugs for $10 (with $8 refills) - definitely the way to go if pina coladas or daquiris are your thing, because they cost $9 for a regular one (18oz, I believe).

Service: I had good service at the bar - I enjoyed the bartenders, and thought they handled the crowds well. Sometimes, especially earlier in the evening, they could get distracted by regulars and it might take a little longer to get served, but for the most part, that wasn't a big deal.

The outside area is really neat - it reminds me of a giant treehouse, and from the top, there are some awesome views of the beach. One downside - when its super hot outside, the air can get kind of stagnant out there, but they have fans around to help mitigate. It also backs right up onto the beach, so you can be on the beach, take a break to come up and eat, and then head back out - there's even a shower on the stairs to wash off sandy feet.

Overall, chill vibe, lots of space, music, and good food.

Great location, good facility, and probably really fun at night. Really bad food though and only okay service. Our queso dip came out cold and when they reheated it and it was a lot smaller- not very appealing. My chicken sliders and fiance's burger were just mediocre at best.

Very impressed. I found out about their lunch from fellow yelpers as my husband, my friend and I were stuck on where to eat. We sat on the patio which overlooks the beach. Our server was slow and inefficient, however the atmosphere and food alone made up for her laziness. I got the mahi mahi sandwich and requested teriyaki sauce and pineapples be added to it. The fries were to die for dipped in my homemade sauce of ranch-mayo-and ketchup. Also, I believe that if a place offers cans as their beer, they should mention that on their menu. I typically don't drink canned beer as I prefer draft or bottle. Hence, the 4 stars. Otherwise, excellent for lunch.

My wife and I really enjoy eating out on the deck in the spring and fall when it's not too hot. Really good Grouper sandwiches and hamburgers.
We're a little, to old to go their club, though. I threw away my leisure suit and platform shoes back in the 70s.

This is a good little restaurant masquerading as a beach club/night club.  Yes, we came in June and in the late afternoon, so I am sure we only got a taste of what this place is like in full swing.  But when it is cleared out during the day it is gorgeous.  Tons of tables outside overlooking the ocean.  Some cute DJ playing Sublime and Bob Marley.  Nice breeze coming off the ocean.  Waterfall on the patio and lots of bars.  Really great beach atmosphere.

The food was surprisingly good for a bar.  I had the mahi mahi sandwich and husband had the ahi tuna sandwich.  Both delicious but our sides came out weird, his with cole slaw with no mayo (doused in vinegar maybe?), and mine with stale tostito chips and  salsa from a jar.  The fish sandwiches were so good though that we didn't really care about the sides.

What I couldn't get over though were the drinks.  How can such a massive bar not have decent drinks?  The waitress offered up a special on Blue Hawaiians, which we both looove, for $2.  The $2 should have been a major tip off that we should have passed, but the naive side of me thought maybe this place serves so many drinks that they can afford to do killer specials like this.  The drinks came and were WEAK.  Like so weak that maybe they used food coloring instead of curacao.  I would bet my $2 that there wasn't even a full shot of rum in there.

Go for the fish sandwiches and chill vibe during the day.  Order a beer and pass on any drink specials they offer.

Very friendly staff and ton's of seating.  Most of the tables have a view of the beach.  Food was very good and the prices were reasonable.  I really have nothing negative to say about this place.  It was just a good overall experience.  It does look like it could be a little wild if you went at the wrong time, or right time, depending on what you're looking for.

Let me say this first.  I don't go to Spinnaker's during Spring Break, so all bets are off if you venture there while the college crowd has taken over PCB.  All the rest of the time (most of the year, in fact) it is MUCH calmer, especially during the day.  I have been there for lunch many times and thought I'd finally review them.

The food is great!  The Black and Blue burger makes me hungry just thinking about it now.  The portions are generous and although you can get away sharing a burger with a loved one, you are going to want to be greedy and take a box home, put your name on it, and threaten violence to anyone who messes with it.

The view is spectacular.  They have many, many booths which are literally right next to the beach.

The service is generally good.  The prices are reasonable.  They have a full bar (of course).  There is plenty of parking.  And did I mention it is directly on one of the world's most beautiful beaches.

Right next to the clubbier and pricier La Vela, both boast a long line and a decent experience. Preferred Spinnaker's since it was cheaper, larger, and more chill. Kenny Chesney was leaving as we arrived, and saw his performance on the big screens and his bus leaving. Nice beach access, too.

The reason why Spinnaker is better than La Vela...

La Vela has a $25 dollar cover charge at the door.

I cannot condone this type of robbery!!

This place is great day and night. I went here twice at night and once for lunch during the day over spring break.

It can get a little busy during lunchtime but we where able to get a seat quick (looking at the beach too) and our service was still fast and very friendly. I got a burger there and oh boy was it huge and GOOD. Hit the spot after a long morning on the beach.

This place is massive, there are tons of seating areas both indoors and outdoors, and on multiple levels. There is also an indoor club area that plays dance/top40 at night with a decent sized dance floor. The main outdoor area is massive and has a large stage where bands play. We saw a great cover band here both nights. Very fun. Since it was spring break time there where alot of people here and it took a while to get drinks sometimes....I found the best way to work it was to open a tab and keep going back to the same bartender. They start to remember you and then you can get drinks quicker.

We always go through Spinnaker's to get to the beach! It's a great area to camp out for the day. You can get drinks from both Spinnaker's and La Vela and use the restrooms at both places. We usually eat lunch at Spinnaker's- they have a great Mahi Mahi Sandwich (blackened)! Which honestly, everything I have tried there is great! Generous portions and not too expensive! It's nice to be able to leave your things on the beach while having lunch and head straight back out to the beach! Very clean restrooms too!

This place is part of the GINORMOUS MTV Spring Break Panama City Beach bar/party.  It's right on the beach and there isn't a bad seat in the place.  Just about all seats are outside on the covered patio...and the food is really good.  I got the mini burgers (which were two regular sized burgers...apparently their regular burger is huge) and they were superb!  I didn't get to see too much of the inside..but I did notice two rooms with stripper poles and dance tables..or something.  Top that off with the sign on the restaurant/club/bar that says, 'Spinnakers....Come Party With Thousands', and this place seems like the place to be in Panama City Beach!
