We had a groupon 30 for 15.  We arrived and "hostess" said sit where you like I'll bring menus.  We found one "clean" booth (table was sticky",  I showed hostess Groupon and she said they don't do Groupon anymore.  I explained I just got it and she said she'd find out, she never came back.  Waitress was fine, we ordered, she brought drinks and plates for appetizers.  When she brought food I showed her the plates had a film of grease, she brought two more and after she had "wiped" them they were still greasy!  Famous sweet potatoes fries were limp and soggy. Potato skins were swimming in grease. I talked to waitress and she said there was no manager or supervisor on duty. I asked the hostess for Mgrs name and e-mail, she never came back.  Asked on my way out and she said "oh, I forgot ".  She ripped a scrap of paper off and wrote Billy Bonner, said he doesnt have e-mail.  We won't be back!

The place smells!  The food is just OK.  They do have the only two pool tables in the area which is a plus.

I'd give it more of a 3.5 if i could. I had a Groupon to this place and went with my husband to watch a Bruins game and get some good bar food. I felt very young at this place, as most of it was older men and couples stopping in for a mid-day drink. It was a little bit shabby inside but the number of TV's and the memorabilia on the walls added some positives. The food was good - we had the buffalo wings for an app, i had a monster of a hot dog and my husband had the steak tips - everything was very tasty - great flavor and plenty in regards to portion. Lots of drink options and the bartender was very friendly. Definitely a local dive bar but i'd go back to watch another game and have some wings and beer.
