The exterior of the building might scare people away. Â I recently ate at another building that looked that bad. Â Inside, it hadn't been updated since the 1940s or 1950s. Â This one is similar, but it seemed clean.
The menu has some variety, including tacos and enchiladas. Â The server seemed ready to please and she was genuinely friendly.
I ordered a patty melt (which didn't have rye bread or swiss cheese) but came on Texas Toast and had American Cheese. Â I also ordered fries and sweet tea.
The food was good, even though it wasn't what I was really craving. Â This place is a few miles from Texas, and I decided to try my luck. Â Besides, it's on the old Route 66.
I'm not sure if I'll return. Â It's a bit out of my way.
