Best food on highway 299!! I've driven from Arcata to Alturas hundreds of times and must have eaten at every single restaurant on the highway and this little gem is a real find.  

Their breakfasts are huge, and delicious (I bet you can't eat a whole breakfast burrito) and their burgers are top notch.  For me the real treat though is their sandwiches.  You get enough to have another half later, but they taste so good, you want to eat it all right then and there.
