Steak & Eggs

We passed through this seemingly small town on the way to summer camp in The Ozarks. I was not too happy about going to Missouri since I had to give up my Jimmy Buffet and Family Values concert tickets. I was already thinking about a "Detroit Rock City" exit strategy when we stopped for the buses to fuel up. We took a lunch break and most everyone went to McDonald's or Subway but I ventured into the town and...

My world changed. The open sign flashing, smells of hot coffee, real people, great "Home Did" service, and more importantly, GREAT FOOD! I couldn't wait to stop on the way back, but the driver took another route home...

Trust me, its been YEARS since I have been and I still talk about it.

An interesting place to see locals from okmulgee, and grab a quick bite while passing through. Don't judge. We got a breakfast egg plate and a steak sandwich which were good.

This Greasy spoon is probably the best you'll do in this town.

OK place for breakfast.  Clean enough, decent service. Basic egg, meat, grits and biscuit place.  The biscuits were homemade and quite tasty.
