  Nice little place for BBQ and TexMex. Service was nice, atmosphere rustic. If you're on your way to the Christmas House in Falfurrias, show your reservation confirmation and they'll give you 10% off your order.

  Nice, filling, unpretentious meals.  I had the carne guisada plate with refried beans and Spanish rice, and it hit the nail on the head.  The flour tortillas that came with the meal were home made and mouth-watering.  They serve drinks in huge 32 ounce glasses.  I think my friend had the quesadillas and she was happy with them.  The decor is primitive and the wait staff not experienced, but on the whole I was happy with the meal.

  Stricklands is the go to place in Falfurrias. The chicken fried steak is pretty good and you can not miss out on the sweet tea.  This is a much better place to stop for food than the rest of the places on 281.
