I finally got around to trying this place and I have to say I was impressed.
Compared to other places of it's sort, it might not be anything special, but for Monroe, it's a stand-out. The place is not "fancy" by any means but it has a feel to it that makes it seem more elegant in a town filled with sports bars. Wait staff are very attentive and do a good job.
The menu is a bit small, but they have excellent chicken and pasta meals. I had a honey Dijon chicken special when I was there and it was excellent. You get a bread with your dinner, and a choice of soup or salad with each entree.
There's a different menu for lunch, but I've never been during the day so I can't attest to that menu. It seems to be mostly sandwiches and burgers.
Live music is a big part of the ambiance of this place, and at least in my experience, the music was pleasant (although not my style) and didn't overpower you to where you couldn't carry on a conversation.
All-in-all it's a nice place in downtown Monroe. If you're expecting it to be on par with a similar style establishment in a bigger city, you might be disappointed, but otherwise it's worth a shot.
