Where do I start. This place sucks. I prefer a different type of women then this bar offers but I was fine with it. I was completely ignored most of the time. Wasn't treated like the rest of the people there. But once they seen I had money it was different but I shouldn't have to let it be known that I'm a big spender. Their lose not mine money ain't a thing to me. The manager chuck is a punk too begging to be my friend? Wtf I came to see the ladies not u. And the female boxing was fixed and terrible.
Review Source:I was here around 1PM on a friday and they had several dancers working already but I was ignored while sitting at the bar. Â The dancers did not put much effort into their stage dancing but it was still early in the day. Â They have $4 valet parking mandatory but there is side street parking available. Â The cover is free before 7pm. Non-alcohol drink prices were kind of expensive of $7-8.
They have $20 lap dances in booths and $25 lap dances in a small curtain room (VIP). Both are done on chairs, no couches here like at Hustler or Penthouse. Â Also no tables in the VIP to put your drinks and stuff on. The dancers are hit or miss but there are some really hot dancers at Subi's.
A friend took me here for my birthday. It's not obvious by the Yelp tag of 'nightlife', but Subi's is a strip club.
We went on a Wednesday afternoon in mid-January. It was a little surprising when they told us we couldn't park in the less than half-full lot without them valet-ing the car. The car was parked, my friend wasn't giving them the keys, so they agreed to just let us pay to park in the spot. Valet at what turned out to be a mostly empty strip club at three in the afternoon on a Wednesday? Really? I'm assuming the attendant just wanted the tip and that's why he insisted. Whatever.
Anyway, the drink prices weren't as ridiculous as I've experienced at other clubs of this sort. But still a little overboard.
A very bored dancer sat with us most of the time that we were there, trying to coax one of us into getting a private dance and/or buying her drinks. She was attractive, but extremely annoying and not all that intelligent. By no means is this an indictment of strippers everywhere. There are some very intelligent women out there who smell like brass polish. This was not one of those women.
My friend eventually told her it was my birthday. Thank god this isn't the kind of strip club that does something crazy-annoying for a guy on his birthday. Instead, I got a free drink. Apparently, the birthday drink could not be a shot on the rocks. I'm assuming this is because a shot on the rocks is supposed to be equal to roughly 1.5 shots of liquor. So I had to order the Jameson's as a shot and then ask for a glass of ice. This went back and forth between the dancer, the bartender, and myself for ten minutes. Ridiculous.
I'll admit my experience at Subi's was at an unusual time, but if they can't 'bring it' on a Wednesday afternoon, they probably have nothin' to bring anyway.
