Basic subway, the food isn't always the freshest and the staff can be slow.

Yep, it's a Subway.

I'm a Subway fan where ever they are located, though some are definitely nicer than others. This one was clean and tidy with about 8 booths for in-house dining. The staff was kind and efficient. Most importantly, the food was consistent with what you expect at a Subway, fresh and tasty. Our sandwiches were made exactly as we liked (though I should have said "easy on the salt and pepper" like I usually do). The chocolate chip cookie was crisp vs. soft, which is how I like them! Overall, a good experience and we'll go back next time we visit.
