Subway

I love it when people work together and seem happy that 'm there at their place of business.

The restaurant had just one customer in line and a couple of guys who were in their table area. I unintentionally kept getting in the way of one of the guys, (he had gotten up to go to the restroom and there I was in the way during his exit - I was very apologetic). My interaction with the customer I believe set the tone with the server, who had the look on his face that said, "Where is this crazy woman from - If I smile maybe she'll stay calm". He did smile throughout my time in the restaurant, but I needed to burn off nervous energy - I was out of my norm - away from home - far away; so the craziness stayed with me.

My friend was buying six or seven subs, so this took team work of another sever and the original young man who greeted us and smiled a lot.... And they pulled it off like a fine tuned machine. I don't frequent Subway Restaurants often, but when I do I'm amazed at the choices they offer for ones sandwich - it's the ultimate on "Have it your way". Still, putting six to seven subs together - not one like the other, was indeed the feat of the day. Applause, applause.

The store itself was clean, the various ingredients were each in good supply in their individual containers and like I said the service was great. If I could, I would give an additional half star because the only downfall was in the identification of each sandwich, which probably could have been done differently, if we said okay mark this one for this person and this for that. Instead the young man labeled them number one, two, three, and so on, (mine was marked with a star - I told him because I was a birthday gift). The team smiled when all was done, just as broadly as when we walked in the door.

My sandwich was great and everyone seemed to enjoy theirs. Everything was prepared just right, down to the shake of oregano to the slathering of mayo. High five Subway in Shelby, NC
