Went there last night and the band Who Shot JR was performing. The singer Jay Arr is amazing! She has so many levels to her voice and can really sing. She also makes little dirty jokes too which kept us laughing.
The wait staff was on point last night too. Constantly making sure their ash tray was emptied and our drinks were full.
I will definitely be back on the nights Who shot JR is playing! They have made me a fan!
If I could give a negative star count I would. Sitting in the Sullivans pool room, the waitress came back about 10 times to serve her friends and chit chat, and not once stopped at any of the other groups to take orders. Everyone else had to trek to the bar. Now her buddies were at the back of the room, so she had to pass everyone else on her way to them. She did not picked up empties, did not changed ash trays, did not even managed to say heya, hi, or hello to anyone else. Just straight to her buddies and then out. I went to the bar to attempt to order food. The bartender was busting butt to get drink orders filled. The waitress was reading the drinks off the list, talking with her friends while the bartender made the drinks, then reading off a few more drinks. I waited 6 minutes and never got a chance to place my order. Even while standing at the bar the waitress complete ignored me. Later I went back up to the bar to try again. The bartender was a real sweetie, she was just overwhelmed. She gladly took my order and apologized for the wait. The waitress was just total fail. On my third trip back from the bar a man stopped me and said "hey, I'm hungry, can I order?" I had to let him know I wasn't a waitress. He thought I was because I was the only one he saw bringing out drinks and food. He eventually tracked down the waitress and had to practically force her to take his order. As we were about to leave the waitress did come over to pick up two of our bottles, she passed within inches of my friend but was talking over her shoulder to her buddies. Didn't even acknowledge my friend at all, no eye contact, no smile, no hello. This is the 3rd time I've been here with similar results. And this will be my last time there. If you want a bar for darts or pool in Smyrna you're much better off at Chappy's. There they acknowledge your presence and make sure you get served.
Review Source:Well I've been there once. Â It was allright I guess. Â Just seemed like a bunch of kids that just turned 21 and I was the old guy. Â Or just a bunch of construction workers. Â Its a nice bar and slammed full of people. Â I guess if you went with a large group to have some drinks it would'nt be all that bad. Â The music is some strip club music like Nickelback/Pink/Aerosmith/Kid Rock/ Â classic rock ect..... Â I guess I like more of the punk/metal/rockabilly/surf rock type of music playing while I'm at a bar. Â I tried out Sullivans because I live in Smyrna. Â So I figured I'd try out a local spot. Â I probably won't go back. Â If its your kind of thing then you'll have a great time!!!
