I loved the pizza. Â I was in the mood for pizza and really was surprised it turned out that good. Â The salads have a great arugula mix, and I judge the quality of a restaurant based on the quality of greens in the salad mix. Â The hamburger was made with chopped steak and that's a bonus. Â The scene is super current, as in; beautiful pinewood bar, brand new everything. Â Theydef dumped money into this place. Â Nice range of ages in the bar, and pool in back was free.
Review Source:Food wasn't too bad. Had the prime rib dip. It was an on par dip. The fries were really good. Now, for the service. The service was bad. When I asked how the prime rib was cooked she responded with "meaty. I don't eat meat so I'm not sure". We had to ask for refills on sodas and it took quite a while to get them after we asked. Overall nothing to rave about, but if you can deal with bad service its not bad for Manson.
Review Source:This place has great service and clean! There is an outdoor patio and inside there is jukebox and pool table to be used. Us girls shared a bunch of app's and that worked out perfect. Those sweet potato fries are to die for. Always have a great time here, thanks to the fun and attentive staff, especially Amber!
Review Source:The best place in Manson to eat...
Ok, but that's not saying much.
The pizza was greasy. IT was extremely busy, because its one of 2 possible places you might go in Manson if you don't feel like Mexican food across the street.
The old guy behind the bar (who I presume was the owner) was grumpy. One of the patrons sitting next to me even said " hey how about a smile" to which he replied "I've been here too long"
The Karaoke night is pretty fun, and its got drinkage. Probably the best atmosphere in Manson for a restaurant.
UPDATE---------------------------------
Went back....
Great times! If you are only there to drink its a fun place. The waitresses were very friendly and attentive. We went for a bachelor party so it was great.
Kareokee was really fun, although nobody ever sings. Lol.
The owner of the bar came up and talked to me. OMG I AM SO GRACED BY YOUR PRESENCE. Not. He was very self -centered and said nothing of importance, nor did he buy me a round. Unimpressive fat man who talked about his new wife, blah blah blah.
I really like this place. It's clean, looks nice, free pool!! The outdoor seating is kinda cramped. The jukebox has tons of songs. The food is really good. Nice drink and beer selection. My parents have a place right up the street so its nice to be able to walk downtown and have a cool place to hang out at!!
Review Source:Favorite meal of the trip came from Sunset Bar & Grill!
The goods;
-Ambiance (Newly remodeled, fresh interior & outdoor seating [in the works])
-Jukebox (Internet downloads, unlimited music genres! Accepts credit cards even!)
-Food (To die for French Dip! Best I've ever had!)
-Cheap prices ($10 burgers, $4 shots/beers/drinks)
The bads;
-The service...
They definitely need to have a dedicated server (not just a bartender that comes over to get your order and then rarely comes back to check in...)
I had to walk up to the bar to ask for a soda refill... as JC says, bad business 101.
We waited quite a while for our food... we were 1 of 2 customers in the bar at this time, AND there were 2 cooks back there!?
I really must say I am rooting for Sunset Bar & Grill to survive... but I really hope they hire some servers, and expedite their cooking a little faster.
I hope they are around next year when I come back!
We had a chicken & beef jalapeño burger with fries...FABULOUS!  The service could be better.  We never received utensils even though they said they would bring them. We had to ask for water refills.  On a warm sunny day it would be great to have outdoors seating...something they are working on.  If you're craving greasy eats, this is the place. We will go there again next summer.
Review Source:I like that there's a new bar in town. The more the merrier, but what I don't like is the fact that the very same people that will be handling your food are also the same ones fumbling with cigarette and lighters right in front of the restaurant. Serious bad business 101.
The place is beautifully redone and there's a pool table. I came here for my birthday and the jukebox was non-stop all night with a good variety of genres. I think the place will be a success that attracts a diff population of people Buddy's doesn't. All in all it will be tough to compete with the town favorite, but if they change some of the serious business 101's they will do fine.
