  Okay, okay, yes, this is your typical country bar/tavern. But, as an almost native Wisconsinite, living in a place where there are more bars/taverns than people, we have all been to at least one or two places like this. This place is out in the middle of nowhere. I've been here a few times, only because my father frequents this place.
  
  As far as environment goes, it is decent for a country bar. There are two pool tables and couple dart boards as well. It has always been clean whenever I've been there. The only thing that I don't like is that I always leave smelling like an ashtray. But, since Wisconsin laws allow smoking inside public places, it is to be expected. It seems as though there are always familiar faces in this bar, and that is not necessarily a good thing. I can't say that the type of people that go to this place are the type of people that I particularly like to associate with.
  
  The only reason that I am even able to be convinced by my father to go is when I am hungry. I haven't been to a bar that has bad appetizers. Most bars do fried foods extremely well. This place is no exception. There is a variety of appetizers available, and I've tried nearly all of them. The steak sandwich is good. The burgers are decent, however, I am not a fan of the way that the bun is prepared. They butter the bun and then lightly grill it. Maybe it's just because I'm not a huge fan of butter, but all I could taste is the butter. Next time, I will ask for a non buttered and non grilled bun. You can also get pizza here. It is frozen, so nothing too spectacular about it. One of the best things about the food here is the soup, when it is available. Some of the soups are soooooo good, but that is probably because they are homemade.
  
  If you are really hungry, and willing to sit with your head in a cloud of cigarette smoke, and listen to a bunch of country folks banter back and forth, this place may do the job.
