The Tailgate Grille

The food was ok, but the atmosphere is so weird, we felt all eyes on us when we walked in like we didn't belong. Service slow and the girl who brought our food neglected to take payment so we had to wait around a while with our to go box waiting to check out. I won't be back.

After dealing with the weirdo vibe of the bar this is located in, we decided it would be better to just take our food to go. This is a relatively new addition to the 215 Saloon and they basically just rent out the kitchen to attend to bar patrons. We sat at the bar and the bartender had to find the waitress to take our order. We decided on some sliders to share and then we waited. It took quite a while for them to get our sliders to us. It took quite a while more for her to return so we could pay the bill, etc. Finally the bartender just rang us up since we had been waiting there quite a while.

After all that waiting I was quite surprised to find that the food really wasn't too warm. The buns were overly bready and weren't warmed. They felt too doughy like they weren't cookd enough to begin with. My fella liked the mushroom swiss slider that he ordered but neither of us liked the buffalo chicken slider and I honestly didn't like either. I ended up only eating one since I just couldn't stomach any more.

I won't be back, but I think it's probably a good option if you happen to be at this bar and want some grub while you drink. Hopefully they work out all the kinks with time.
