  Sept 19th 14 girls arrived We sat down and were given menus. Never saw anyone again, after 30-40 min. still with no Water, silver ware or napkins, we got up and left. When we arrived they should have told us that they were unable to serve our large group. Several girls that need to eat on time were feeling ill. Will not try it again.  Jean

  The Tap Room Sports Bar and Grill is part of the Waynesville Country Club.  Friendly waitstaff serve up mostly average food.  The atmosphere is casual and pleasant, though things can get rowdier depending on golf parties.  ;-D
  
  If you're visiting during warmer months, be sure to take a stroll around the grounds and enjoy some of the prettiest views in town.
  
  NOTE:  Although the salad bar is wonderful, the warm portion of the lunch buffet is lacking.  Thus, two stars.

  Fun unexpected find. A good little restaurant on a cold winter day.  We went looking for the Cork and Cleaver but it was closed for the Winter. This little place is the food back up. Good tap beer.  We were here in the afternoon but it looked like this place might turn into a vibrant  location for late night and somewhat older folks. We will return.

  After 12 hours traveling on a red eye flight from CA, we were very thirsty and hungry.  Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy your great place.  We had burgers, fries, chicken, beer, and loved it all.  My mushroom, swiss burger was cooked perfectly, tasted so yummy.  The peach beer, which I was skeptical at first about, was exactly what I needed to quench my dehydrating spirit.  Our server was slow, but we did not care today, since we just needed to relax.  Next visit we will return for another round.

  This place is great for what it is.  A quality little restaurant tucked into a small golf resort in a small mountain town.  Food was great and I loved the craft beer selection they had.  Wasnt expecting that.  They also had the NFL ticket which was a plus.

  My wife and I have been quite a few times (we are locals). Though it is at a country club, it's not as expensive as you might think. The food has always been great, the wait staff attentive and polite and the drinks well mixed. The atmosphere is pretty nice though the windows can be drafty when it is cold outside (which is all the time in the winter around here) so if you are cold natured, you may want to sit at an interior table.
  
  As a bonus, lots of flat screen televisions mounted on the walls at strategic locations in the dining room and at the bar. You can always catch the game. Just wish they had HD...would not be that hard...
