  Authentic, delicious and reasonable- a little gem in Basalt. Definitely worth a stop, and maybe even a special trip for Tuesday smothered burritos. This is not an organic health food scene, but that's part of its appeal. Excellent Mexican food is something to be embraced, so definitely give this a go. Salsa bar (for eat-in orders only).

  Lots of positive reviews of this place, but I found little to like. Bland, greasy and unimaginative Mexican food and high prices was what I found here. Granted my frame of reference is SoCal and Arizona, but I the reality is the entire experience was pretty disappointing.

  A truly authentic Mexican experience. Who would have thought you would find something like this in Basalt? Middle of nowhere.

  This place is LEGIT. Definitely agree with the other reviewers about not judging this book by its cover. The place looks pretty rough, especially after leaving Aspen.
  
  The menu is in Spanish, so if you're not familiar with Mexican fare, you might have some problems.
  
  This is quick, relatively cheap, absolutely genuine Mexican food.

  Taqueria oh how I miss thee.
  
  Best Mexican food in the entire Roaring Fork Valley.  There is no rival.
  
  Everything on the menu is great.  Always pair it with a Mexican Bottled Coke and don't be afraid of the Lengua and Cabeza.
  
  The Mojarra Frita is awesome and even though it's $14, it'll feed two no problem.

  This place hits the spot after a long day of skiing.  Everything on the menu is very good: tacos, etc.  Just don't go here for a nice dinner.  Take out or beware.

  Best mexican food in the Roaring Fork Valley. The ceviche, the tortas and the margaritas are awesome. Don't be deterred by the sanford building - this place is muy authentico!
