Not Tex-Mex. Traditional food from Jalisco area around Puerto Vallarta. Mex-style shrimp cocktail a specialty. Food is very lightly sauced, appeals to Jaliscan immigrants. Burrito is large but dry. Â Salsa is more like a watery tomato-cilantro based salsa, not a blended salsa. Popular with local ethnics.
Review Source:This is some serious Mexican food. In high school, it was my favorite spot for lunch, and to this day, it's the only reason I've ever bothered to drive through Hereford since I graduated.
It can be loud, and at times it does get a bit dirty, but put that barbacoa in your mouth and these things cease to matter.
