A Taste of Philly

This place is fantastic.  I have never been a Philly sandwich fan,  ends up that was because I had simply never had a good one.  These guys put together the best Philly steak sandwich I have ever had in my life,  nice quality meat, finely chopped peppers and onions, and some form of magical cheese that is just the best ever.

They make all sorts of deli meat subs,  loads of meat per sandwich compared to what you see a most sub shops.  If you go for a 12in sub, you better be hungry,  it is a TON of food!
....try this place out and you'll have a hard time enjoying something from the chain sub places ever again.

You have to try this!  My family used to eat at Penn Station on a regular basis, but now we have seen the light!  This is the best place for a philly steak sandwich anywhere in town.  I'd love to say that everything on the menu is good, but cannot order anything but the steak, it is just that good.

A bit of a drive down to Roanoke, but so worth it!!!

This place was great!  We stopped here for lunch, since everything looked great on the menu we shared a Philly Cheesesteak and a cold Italian Sub (they will serve it how you like it - hot or cold).  The sandwiches were huge, the bread is great, the meats were plentiful and the taste was wonderful!
The folks are very friendly and helpful.  They will make the sandwich however you want it.  
They have a bar to sit at along the wall with some stools, or they will pack it up for you to take with you.
