The Tavern Downtown

The Tavern is a small bar within a block of Main Street in downtown Cartersville.  It has a limited menu, and I've only had their appetizers as far as the food is concerned.  The fried mushrooms are beer-battered, which is a little thick for my tastes, and are served with horseradish sauce.  My friend seemed to enjoy her chicken wrap and fries, especially once the server brought her some ketchup.  All in all, I wouldn't go there for the food, but the bartenders are friendly and attentive.  They have live music on Thursdays through Sundays, and the place can get a little crowded.  It's really just a typical bar.
