The Tavern

Had to write a review for the best burgers ever at The Tavern.  At only $3 for a cheeseburger you cannot beat the price or the quality.  The place had only locals in it the day we stopped for lunch (July 4th week) and now I know why.  This is a quaint bar and would highly recommend the burgers - they are better than ones that I have had that cost twice as much.  The guy who runs the place does it all (bartender, cook, and dishwasher) - he was extremely nice and friendly to my husband and I when we stopped in.  Check it out the next time you are up in the Adirondacks!

I didn't expect any reviews of this place!  $3 burger... really?  if he doesnt have meat, he'll send you across the street to the grocery store to buy your own and then he'll make you the burger.  the locals were raving about this place.  we stopped in for some shots and as 3 manhattan girls, we stuck out but everyone was real nice.

Burgers are incredible (only available at lunch time).
