Tavern On the Green

1983 called...wants its restaurant back.
dated decor.
average, but friendly service.
absolutely nothing imaginative on the menu.
lousy dinner rolls served with butter in tinfoil...really?
lousy margaritas.
weak cocktails.
the wine pours were rather generous.
surf and turf came with overcooked steak and slightly burnt prawns.

the medium and medium rare prime rib on the other hand was cooked perfectly.
for the high desert this place is fine.

Britteny and Matt are the best bartenders. Be careful though, being the best means that their drinks will quickly get you buzzed...

Good food at a great price. The place is owned by the residence who absorb the loses in their monthly fees. This place is open to everyone so enjoy a meal on their dime.
