This place is in a remodeled house in a neighborhood but don't let it fool you. Â I could see a line out the door before I pulled up and had to park on the street.
There name is a little misleading because BBQ is not their main food. I would say that southern cooking with a little BBQ is the menu. Â The chicken was awesome, veggies were right and the sweet tea was on point. All for $8. Nuf said!!
WOW. A hidden delight on a side street. Â So many choices. Asked a diner for suggestions. He laughed and said everything. Asked the Guy behind me. He suggested it all. So, my eyes delighted in the challenge. Â I swear my grandma made those vegiet. Green beans with huge chunks of bacon, Lima beans that melted in my mouth, the Mac n Cheese definitely made with love, and no words can adequately describe the fried green tomatoes. The smoked sausage was the perfect meat even though there was fried & baked chicken, pork chops, and ribs. Â Yep, if I lived here gaining weight would be reality. And I didn't mention the tea, lemonade, or desserts.
