If you're in the mood for fast food, the grill at Texas Burger is always good, although the hamburger patties are small. Â The small building is shared with a Subway, and Management is casual about cleaning. Â Employees are loud, boisterous, and not focused on the customer. Â That being said...the food is good enough to get you down the road.
Review Source:I've never been to a Texas Burger chain before. They make a very good classic burger with good condiments. The fries are lightly battered and were delicious. Texas Burger has been added to my list of places to eat.
I know your chances of a good meal changes from store to store in a chain restaurant, but this was a good stop.
YIKES! Â Ok food, but facilities terrible and service terrible. Â Opted for this stop to avoid the crowds of Woody's. Â If you must eat here, then go for Subway next door, which will move you through the line quicker. But you share seating with the same patrons of both fastfood restaurants.
Review Source:I was on my long journey from Houston to Wichita Falls and was running on empty in my tummy AND gas tank. I usually stop at the local Sonic, but decided to give Texas Burger a try and I am SO glad that I did!
I ended up getting the "double meat-double cheese" burger that was absolutely FANTASTIC! It tasted like it was home-cooked, was humongous and had fresh veggies on top! The french fries were better than any I have ever had. They were seasoned to perfection and obviously made from fresh potatoes!
My ONLY complaint is that I literally waited in line for 10 minutes. The woman who began helping me told me that she would re-fill my drink as much as I needed while I waited in line. She was a real treat!
I will definitely go back to this Texas Burger. Yum!
My hometown had a Texas Burger at one time, so when I find a franchise that is still open, I will go a little bit out of my way to be taken back to a faintly flickerieng childhood memory. Â The burgers here are pretty good, but what is really great are the fries. Â They come out all orange and crusty, so you know they have been beer-battered. Â Awesome stuff.
Review Source:I recently worked in the Centerville area and stopped here for a burger one evening.
The burgers here are frozen patties fried on a grill. All the toppings were fresh, and the burger was constructed neatly and half wrapped in paper. It's nothing great by any means, but I prefer a burger here to one of the big name chains. The fries were crispy, they seem to be of the coated variety. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you when ready.
Not much choice foodwise in this small town.
