Ordered take out: 12 mild wings and some pub fries. Â After waiting for more than 30 minutes my order finally arrived. Â I should have taken it out directly to the dumpster -- the fries had been cooked in oil that was well past its change point, making them taste like burnt smoke. Â The wings -- how do you screw up wings so badly? Â Two of them had not been fully cooked and were nearly raw on the inside. Â The others were so small they looked more like "winglets" than wings. Â Only a few actually had sauce. Â The sauce itself was boring and bland. Â If you're looking for good pub food skip this place and visit Sal's Pizzeria down the road on the Gulf Breeze - Navarre line. Â Same prices, but much better care taken with preparation. Â I definitely won't be back to Third Base -- you might as well stay Home!
Review Source:If you have not been in this place you SHOULD!! It is nothing like these people below have said...of course the dates are a good indicator that they have not been here for a while!! The people are very friendly and the food is good! It is a BAR it is not going to be gourmet food. When you go into this place you will want to visit again believe me!! There are great specials all the time and happy hour ALL the time 11-6 $1.50 drafts :D The lady that Stevens S. mentioned ( and also indicated he had not seen first hand) does NOT yell at customers, she is a very sweet woman! Come see for yourself!!! 5 STARS
Review Source:The service here is bad. The food is atrocious. I mean at least it's cheap, because it's fairly inedible. At least the beer is cheap. The sports is all in standard definition. No HD here! Sorry but any place that brands itself a sports pub must have high definition. They went as far as buying 4 really nice LCD TV's, bought the NFL package for DirecTV, but skimped and got it all in crappy standard definition.
The bad:
Service is bad.
Food is awful.
Sports are all in standard def, no HD here!
The good:
Beer is cheap.
You can watch pretty much any game here.
This is a really nice sports bar on Hwy 98 two miles east of the Gulf Breeze Lowe's. The bar is open seven days a week, featuring 8 beers on tap, bottled beers, wine, and a variety of malt beverage cocktails. The kitchen is open every day except Monday, serving up value-priced "pub grub" such as chicken wings, slider burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and chili. Signature items include beer battered jalapeno bottle caps, Black & Tan onion rings, buffalo bleu cheese sticks, Wisconsin brats, and pig wings in pepper jam sauce.
Entertainment-wise, the place had wi-fi, and lots of sports playing on 11 flat screen TVs, as well as Golden Tee Golf and Silver Strike bowling games, two dart boards and a pool table. They also had a really good band playing the night I was there.
There was dollar draft, trivia and karaoke.
This place was really nice and new. The bartenders were really cute women and the patrons are mostly regulars from the community so it had a friendly vibe. Even though we were visiting from out of town, it was very welcoming. I'll definitely be back!
