This bar is all about what you're looking for. Â
If you're looking for a bucket of beer, a place to watch the game and BS with your buddies - you just found it. Â
My server was really nice, genuinely engaging and sweet. Â Though I didn't eat much food - Â I did have the homemade chips and they were deep fried dynamite. Â And they have a Skill Crane! And tragic, drunken karaoke! Â God is great!
That said, I did see they have oysters and crab legs?
If I were to judge this book by its cover; this is not the kind of place I would eat either of those things. Â I highly doubt The Thirsty Turtle is overnighting fresh oysters from Price Edward Island and crabs from Alaska -- to plates in Antioch, Tennessee.
Not when they peddle fajitas and cheese sticks right along side them?
Checked out the joint a couple of times. It's just eh. Nothing special unless you live 2 miles from it. Tried the wings and they're just eh too. The servers are very distant. Like someone said earlier, they only come around unless you wave at them and call the over. It's a good place to hang out, have a few drinks and watch the game, but other than that, like I said, eh. Nothing too special.
