Three B's Lounge

This is not a place I would go to sit at the bar and drink. The selection of beer is what you'd expect of a blue collar type dive bar - some light beers, PBR, some stuff I wouldn't ever put in my mouth, and thankfully some Yuengling on tap. At least I have something tolerable to wash down my food. And I do love the food - great bar food.

They've had a good selection of interesting specials over the years I've  been going here - including the previously mentioned Delmonico Steak sandwich which was KILLER. The appetizers are tastily fried to perfection (hey, it is a dive bar!), and the sandwiches and hoagies are a good size and extremely tasty. Prices are what you'd expect for the atmosphere you're in - cheap. But I keep going back for the food! Just don't sit at the bar....

Make no mistake, 3 B's Lounge in Zelienople is a dive bar. Beer selection is very basic & pitiful. Food on the other hand is pretty darned good.

There's a specials menu posted as you walk in and that's where the good stuff resides. They used to have a Delmonico Steak sandwich up on the board for $5.99 that was literally a super tender, well prepared steak between 2 slices of bread. I ordered a Muffuletta once that came on a big round loaf of bread as big as my head for $5. Their daily soups on the specials board are also pretty tasty and they always have a good chili on their menu.

Several of their hoagies from the regular menu are also really good. Sometimes I'll order what I call 'fried deliciousness' which is deep fried mushrooms, cauliflower & zucchini on 1 platter. It's clearly no good for me but its spectacular!

Most places my hubby & I generally enjoy sitting at a bar and we avoid doing that here. We've seen some characters start up some heated arguments or just drunken abrasive conversation that makes us gravitate to a table.

The bartender is typically our server at the tables during the week. It can get pretty crowded in here on the weekends with extra waitstaff. The kitchen is tiny and food takes a while when its crowded. The beer here isn't good enough to keep you amused for long even though the slogan on their T-shirt is 'Get Your Buzz at the BBB's'.
