Really love the food here.  Our waitress always provides great service!

I was in from out of town and wanted a quick bite.  The hotel desk recommended this very highly.  And now I know why.  Very quick and polite service along with a very good burger.  Yes, it has the obvious bar food.  But more.  Take a look next time your in town. I would definitely visit again if I'm ever in town again.

Yum!  A bit pricey - but, really good food for this type of place.  Great selection.  Had mine to-go, really didn't wait long - liked that!

Nice family owned sportsbar, great staff, good food and friendly vibe, I get the Reuben everytime im here. They make a mean Cajun catfish fillet too! They serve greek food, which is their strength.

This place looks like its closed from the outside when you walk up to the door. Don't let the exterior fool you!

My wife and I dined here this afternoon and needless to say, we will not be going back.  She ordered a salad that was little more than pile of lettuce with a hunk of tomato and feta cheese on the side sitting in a puddle of separated "house dressing."  My meal was a gyro with "spicy fries," both of which were extremely bland.  The onions in my gyro were cooked to some point that amounted to slimy and stringy, and I had to reach down and grab my napkin every several seconds to wipe off the grease that was dripping down my fingers.  There were no directions on seating, entrance of the place, or really anything.  The staff was dressed extremely casually for a restaurant environment and there was no uniformity at all among them.  While the price range was okay (we got two meals with drinks for $13), we definitely should have put our money elsewhere into a better tasting meal!  I wouldn't go back or recommend this place to anyone!

While the outside looks rundown and can be a little off-putting, the bar atmosphere inside is very nice. I was in the area on business and came in on a Tuesday at about 5pm. I imagine that later in the evening and on weekends it gets fairly lively. The servers are very friendly and accommodating, however, the food was just okay. I had the marinated chicken and while it wasn't terrible, it didn't make me do a double-take either.

This place wasn't great. I came with my dad and ordered the Greek specialty chicken on a pita (sorry--forget the exact name...was like a gyro, but with chicken), and the chicken was charred to the point where every bite tasted burnt. The fries were bland--no seasoning whatsoever. My dad ordered the bacon burger, and his burger--and bacon--were also charred to the point of being burnt. There's one thing to have crispy meat, and it's another having it charred, and then ANOTHER thing having it burnt. Our meat was burnt. His fries were also unseasoned, so I'm assuming it wasn't simply my batch. The service was okay. I'm definitely not in a hurry to go back...maybe if I ordered something vegetarian or went on a day when a different chef was preparing the food it would be better.

A sports bar that serves greek food is the best way to describe this place.  The bar side is definitely all sports bar, but there are two more rooms that are definitely more "restraunty"! The menu is filled with all sorts of things including several different greek dishes.  I love the souvlaki, and they have a greek hot plate that is great too.  There are also burgers, salads, steaks on the menu, so of Greek isn't your thing, you'll stil lhave plenty to choose from!

This is not a Greek restaurant. Probably the worst gyros I've ever had. I used to work in Greektown in Detroit. However, it's a friendly bar atmosphere, get a burger and some beer.

We moved away from the Fairborn, OH area a few years ago, and whenever we're back in town and want wings, Tickets is the first choice for us.  Their wings and drums are definitely not scrawny like some other local favorites.  If you're in the mood for a salad, you will NOT go wrong with the Greek chicken salad.  Served with warm pita bread, it is outstanding.  The service is typically fantastic, and we like that it has a family-friendly restaurant side of the house, along with a more "sports bar/adult" area by the bar.  And whatever you do, do not leave without getting dessert.  You'll feel like you've died and gone to heaven after a single scoop of chocolate chip ice cream.  Simple?  Sure, but it is the best ice cream around...served after some of the best food around!

This is my favorite none chain restaurant. The gyro's are fantastic and so is the chicken breast peta. I eat here at least twice a week. My only complaint is they close to early during the week.

Have wanted to try Tickets in Fairborn for some time now and decided to check them out for lunch. Nice, clean, corner bar type atmosphere, very large bar area.  The service was a little slow and the server we had was not overly personable, they were not very crowded either. The menu seemed pretty diverse, typical sports bar fare (burgers, wings, rings, fries, etc) with the addition of a pretty good selection of Greek food. I ordered the Gyro and chips platter, I've heard that their Gyros are pretty good. Lots of Gyro meat, good flavor overall, not a lot of tziki sauce which was kind of a shame because the little that was on it was pretty good (I should have asked for more I suppose). Overall a pretty decent experience, if I find myself in Fairborn around lunch time I'd probably stop by again.

Seems that my experience here has been hit or miss. I have eaten here a few times a year in the past. Usually food has been decent enough, not memorable, although a little on the higher priced side. Usually went there out of convenience and seemed that only other choices were fast food.

Interior seems pleasant enough- dark wood, few TV's, some background music, but not too loud.

Today's lunch however, is why they are getting a lower review. I had a gyro with no onions. It did come with no onions but no tzatziki sauce either. I had the waitress come over and she said
"are you sure?" I have it wide open and it is very plain to see that there isn't any. Its not brain surgery. She heads to get some but turns around and comes back and gets the basket to take with her to the window. So now my meal, which is getting colder by the minute, is being paraded across the restaurant to show someone that there in fact is no sauce. I don't think that tzatziki sauce is that expensive that it needs verification. I might, of course, just be scamming some extra sauce out of them.

I asked the wife how she liked the Reuben sandwich. I could tell that it had sat on the grill too long and was very dark bordering on burnt in most places. She said that is was ok but doesn't want to ever go back.

For the two of us: my lunch gyro, fries, drink was over 9 dollars and hers Reuben, chips and drink was combined over $17 bucks sans tip.

So for the price and food quality, I know I can get a better tasting meal for less at other places.

I love this place, it's like a Cheers down the street. It has that same feel.  My boyfriend goes there twice a week to buy a gyro, he tries to hide it from me...but I know. Their ribs are absolutely amazing, their waitresses are friendly, but the bartenders seem a little aloof.

I only gave it 4 stars because they don't do a very good job advertising their specials. It seems like every time I go in there, no matter what day. They have specials up that always start the next day, or were for the day before, or the coming weekend.

I met the owner last night and he is one of the nicest guys you could meet. I always try to support local establishments, especially when they are as good as Tickets.

Wow, do I love Tickets!  The ambiance is classic, wooden with bar decoration.  It's clean, well-stocked, has decent beer on tap, and it's affordable.  Not only that, they have great food.

I figured out this place existed while I was tutoring twice weekly at the Fairborn Public Library.  (Please do go there if you are a Fairborn local.)  Because the little downtown intersection is so charming, my boyfriend and I would spend an hour or two at the local shops, then go to Tickets.

My favorite bartender is Suzy.  She remembers me and my boyfriend, and she was able to give the complicated instructions regarding my veganism and (7) food allergies to the chef.  The chef, by the way, is a vegetarian and was able to crank out some absolutely delicious mess of sauerkraut, peppers, onions, mushrooms, possibly chilies that goes perfectly with waffle fries.  They charged me a reasonable amount for the special order, too.

Their menu is mostly for meat-eaters.  Like most places, their vegetarian fare is laced with dairy, but don't let that stop you from asking them for something vegan.

I like the level of service there, that there are real people there instead of corporate clones, that the food is delicious, and that the ambiance is relaxing casual (and also beautiful in its own way).  Please go there and tip well.

I have heard great things about Tickets so perhaps others people find it better than I did.

Environment was nice.  Appetizer of fried cauliflowers was good... Well anything fried unfortunately dipped in sauce is yummy.
Gyro plate lacked much taste, actually is was nasty.  Staff was slow and not overly friendly.  I suppose maybe people like it b/c they are regulars.  However I didn't find it overly inviting.  Wouldn't go back.

Maybe it was an off night?

A place to not over look just because of the outside it looks like nothing special. It is well worth a jump inside

I' was pleased because of the greek food. To understand that there is greek food in the middle of dumpy Fairborn, was I a bit of a surprise, but I tried it anyway and was very pleased. I got the Gyro Plate which came with a very good size portion of Hot pita, Gryo Meat, and a very good tzatziki sauce. Order the "hot" fries, they extra seasoning is delicious. I would not be tempted to actually journey out here just for this food, but If was doing business at Wright Patt then its close enought to make me want to eat here then some other place.

A Greek sports tavern? Yep, and the food is as good as the restaurant is eclectic.

From the best burgers to tasty gyros, vegetarian choices, lite fare, and big gut-busting sammies, the food is great, the price is reasonable, the service is prompt and attentive without being fussy.

A favorite for the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base employees during lunch- expect a crowd, but not a wait as they are great about getting people in and out on the lunch hour.

Tickets is one of those places that you shouldn't judge from the outside.  It is one of those restaurants that doesn't lure you in with their curb appeal but once you enter the bar, it is open and lively.

I have been to Tickets several times now for lunch and each experience was enjoyable.  The place is always packed and if you arrive after noon, you might not find a seat in the bar area.  Surprisingly they specialize in greek food and it is very tasty.  I recommend the greek hot-plate that comes loaded with lamb, pork, chicken and feta with a side of pita and tzatziki sauce.

There is another seating area that is much quieter and more of a plain dining area.  The atmosphere drops off tremendously in this section.  I have only crossed over to this side when paying the bill.

Great service despite a large crowd. The cheesburger was great. Try the seasoned fries as well, they are not hot, just tasty.

Ribs and John's House Steak are great.  Super food, cold beer in Downtown Fairborn.  Four Stars

Went here for lunch.  The service was everything you expect from a Greek restaurant.  Fast, friendly, efficient, and completely fun!

The food was excellent.  I had a gyro and it was everything I expected.  The potato salad was fantastic - and fresh!  My only complaint is that their desserts were lacking, even though there was a bakery inside the shop.  Minimal selection.

Prices were reasonable.  Parking could probably be sketchy at times.
