TJs was ok. Â We found it wondering through downtown manistee and thought we would check it out. Â Service was really good. Food was pretty good, just not very much. Â Both of us left there feeling like we had just had a very light lunch. Â Which in all honesty is fine but not for the prices we paid. Â $8 for a wedge salad that is smaller than a side wedge salad at other places is a little much.
Review Source:Fantastic setting, decent food and any drink you want. Â The staff is friendly and competent. Â The manager is active in the whole operation and it shows. Â They will cater to special parties, even closing the pub to the public for a short time. Â My only complaint is the acoustics. Â The building is masonry and sound ricochets.
Review Source:We are in from Minneapolis and can say that if you don't stop and eat a TJ's when you stay in Manistee or at least pass through, you've missed out on one of the best local gems. Great food (try the sushi, it's fantastic), superb beer selection, friendly staff and just a great location on main street to shop then eat. Whether its a quick bite and cocktail or a sit down dinner, do yourself a favor and stop at TJ's so you can get a taste of Michigan at it's best.
Review Source:This pub occupies a nice new-looking space in the corner of a building. Â However, there is no tap beer - all bottles. Â The menu is limited and there are no entrees. Â The sandwiches were fine but nothing really special. Â Overall this place has a feel of just getting started. Â There is room for improvement and perhaps it will rise to the occasion.
