Tommyknocker Tavern

We stopped in for lunch on a Sunday a few weeks ago.  Food was delicious and we loved the atmosphere of the place.  However, it took FOREVER to get our food - between 45 min & an hour to get BBQ sandwiches & potato salad.  However, the lone waitress gets 5 stars for continuing to smile & be nice while hustling to wait on all the tables.

This bar is awesome. We went to Creede in January to check out the town during a "recovery day" from skiing. Found out everything in town is closed for the winter except for...Tommyknocker Tavern! Was told by the bartender they are open every single day of the year.

The bartender was fantastic, sandwiches were great, and the atmosphere is perfect for drinking some Colorado beers on a chill afternoon. If your nearby, it's worth the scenic drive.

Tommyknocker is THE bar in town. Great sandwiches and cheap alcohol. The place can get quite crowed, but it's part of the fun. They have an open mic night on Wednesday nights, and they often have concerts on Saturday nights in the summer time. They have a big patio, and a room upstairs, so if you ever find yourself there on a Saturday and you don't care for the music, you can get away from it while still enjoying the fun.
