We ate at Toni's last night,  and were the only patrons the entire time we were there. Our server was good, not great. They do bring out free homemade chips and bread knots. The chips were good, the bread knots were cold and not good. We ordered a garlic bread appetizer that didn't have any garlic anywhere on it as far as we could tell. It was all soggy with butter. I had the Ribeye Steak Sandwich and Potato Wedges. The sandwich looked awesome . It was cooked to the perfect temp I ordered and had grilled onions and green and red peppers. The sad thing about it was that it was so bland. It had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. The potato wedges were just okay, nothing special. My partner ordered a cheese pizza and once again it looked great, but he said it was one of the worst he'd ever had. The sauce wasn't good and the pizza itself was just very bland. We were so disappointed, we saw all the great pictures of the food at Toni's online and then it was so bland. The place is very clean and the decor is nice, but we will never go back.

I LOVE Toni's. Service and food is ALWAY exceptional. I crave the Winter pasta and the martini list is always great!!

Stopped while on a stroll with the wifey and niece. Suffice to say we all enjoyed the food. The service was also good. I would definitely try this place again if I would ever find myself around these parts.

Food was wonderful, Friday night clam chowder a tasty treat. All you can eat Fish Fry on Fridays is very good.  Good sauce for the pasta and prices very reasonable. Definitely will go to this restaurant again!

Good food, however we also experienced poor service.  The waitress was much more attentive to the regulars that were next to us (she knew them by name).  They came in about 15 minutes after us and received their food before us.  She forgot our appetizer that we had ordered and and was annoyed when we asked about it.  She also kept complaining about being busy... I think there were 6 tables of people.  It definately put a damper on our night out.

Ah Toni's.  How I would love to give you 4 or more stars.  Alas, my last visit here was attrocious.  The food is always great.  The service had always been amazing...until my last trip here.  They apparently had a server call in sick, leaving 2 waitresses, a host, a bartender and kitchen staff.  2 waitresses should be more than enough to cover the, maybe, 20 (10 of which were empty) tables in this joint.  However it took 15 minutes to get water.  The waitress was rude and complained they were shorthanded the whole meal through.  Give this place a try as the food is worth it, but call ahead to make sure all of their employees showed up to work.

I heard about Toni's from a story about a presentation the owner gave at a seminar about local food. They have a garden and purchase much of the food they serve locally.

That was what I read. Toni's has a very unique menu for the area. My husband and I went on a Friday night. We shared warm pretzel crusted brie with toasted french bread. It was pretty good. I had salad with their house dressing, a raspberry maple vinaigrette.  My husband had clam chowder which he said was alright.

For dinner I had butternut squash ravioli with grilled chicken, prosciutto and a balsamic vinegar sauce. I thought it was nice and light. The proportion size was not too filling even after eating salad and an appetizer. My husband ordered the all you can eat fried cod. He loved it and I tried it and it was very delicious. The cod tasted fresh, the batter was light and the tartar sauce was homemade. I am not a big fan of fish so for me to like it is saying quite a bit. For dessert we share pumpkin creme brulee which was good, the sugar was a little too burnt for my liking.

As for the service it was pretty good. The waitress was very nice and she told us all the specials. We were given time to eat each "course" before they brought out the next.

Overall I would recommend going to Toni's. We will be going back to try more things on the menu because there were so many that looked good.

I can't believe there haven't been any reviews yet!  This place is awesome!  My sweetheart and I were meeting some friends in Winnebego at their farm near by.  They recommended this place so we stopped before we drove all the way back to Chicago.

The Sister's Chips appetizer is DELICIOUS and you must share with a small group or at least be prepared for a rather large serving.  So worth it, even if you just have a few bites.  You get tasty bread with dinner and the restaurant is SO cute.  The bar area looks nice and it's a great restaurant overall with a really good vibe.  If you are passing through, you must stop by.  I had ravioli and my dear had the ribs.  Tasty! They have a wide variety of items on the menu.
