Tonopah Family Restrauant

Was a little questionable from the outside, but the food turned out to be surprisingly good.  Four of us had the chicken and beef chimichangas, chicken burrito enchilada and the carne asada plate. All were good and well priced. Will definitely stop in again if ever passing through.

I ate here once under new management and I was not too impressed.  I was really hoping they would put in new furniture, flooring, or something. It still looks very much like I remember it looking like before it closed for renovations. I'm hoping those renovations were made to the kitchen equipment instead. My first choice order item was not available, so I had to order a BLT instead.  It was very small and side of fries were not crispy.  The other thing we ordered, a burger, had a grayish hue and otherwise did not look appetising so I had no interest in trying it.  I feel sad as a local we don't have any other places to dine except Tintop and this place.  At least Tintop is a bit better. But for some reason it does not show up in Yelp searches.

Basically the only place around. There's a banner outside proclaiming it's under new management (for what it's worth).
