Top Deck

Wow! Walking into top deck on a thursday night was a culture shock for me. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. People dancing at a bar that didn't involve grinding on each other and butt shaking. They were actually dancing like you see in a country movie?!? Haha, back to my review of top deck. The live band was amazing, the locals were nice, and the atmosphere inside was great. Large amount of people were present for a thursday night considering the small size of the town. My only negative remark was the atmosphere of the young kids that filled the parking lot smoking reminded me of a high school party and less of a bar. I am unsure if I will visit again. Do not get me wrong, Top Deck was an awesome experience but one visit was enough country for me to last a lifetime. ( Disclaimer- My idea of county and your idea of country could differ!!)

This place is a hoot.

Like the previous reviewer said... "it's one of those places that...words can't describe."

It has a healthy mixture of old and young. The drinks are solid and so are the women.

Top Deck is one of those places that well words can't describe. Farmington is in the middle of no where, a power plant town (4 coal firing plants here) with a small population.

My first authentic country bar, I can't even describe the Top Deck expierence. My buddy and I wore typical city going out clothes, and we walked into huge 10 gallon hats, boots and tapered levi's on everyone. The crowd was a little older, and everyone was friendly.

Well I can't put into words the whole expierence, so I plan to hold my 40th birthday party there. If the over sized log cabin is still around.

I highly recommend stopping by this place if you are in NW NM.
