First, lets get something straight. A restaurant is more then just food. The service and ambiance, and the time you have, all contribute to the total experience. Tommy knows what he is doing. Every dish he makes is impeccable. Tommy is a perfectionist, and it shows in the finished products. I like restaurants with small menus. It means they make a few dishes, but they make them extremely well. TR never disappoints. You can tell Tommy always starts with a fresh product, and creates food with love and complete understanding of the product he is serving.
Ronnie will make sure your night is enjoyable, and that their is nothing that you need.
And, if you just want to stop by for a burger, and to watch a game, then Sunday's there are the way to go.
The best kept secret in town....TR. The closest you will ever get to food perfection.
I haven't tried the food here but stopped in for a glass of wine on the Thursday night after the 4th of July. It was quiet around 10 p.m. with dinner winding down. The ambiance was very nice inside, it reminds me of the kind of place my parents would love to stop by for dinner -- not really crowded, quiet, peaceful. I watched some people eating -- mussels looked good and my cousin says the wings are great. Prix fixe option is nice, too. I would definitely go back to sit down and have a meal (next time I'm in town, anyway :)). No outdoor seating, but pretty views of the marina.
