Trails End Restaurants & C-Store

We stopped here on a Sunday on our way up to Canada.  The church crowd had begun to arrive as we were promptly seated by a pleasant young woman.  We were given menus and offered the buffet.  We chose the buffet just to save time.  There were scrambled eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, casserole dishes, potatoes, fried chicken and vegetables.  Nothing was particularly bad, just  very bland and blah.  The biscuits and gravy were almost like wall paper past but not quite as bad just not a whole lot of flavor.  The fried chicken was the highlight as it was ok.  Some of the potato dishes were flavorful but not really anything very interesting.  That's ok.  It filled us up.  It wasn't expensive but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit here.
