First things first, there are very attractive people here. I honestly thought I was only going to see elderly, saggy Caucasian people...but I was pleasantly shocked and surprised. The crowd was heavily mixed with Blacks, Asians, Indians, Whites, Mixed, etc. Different shapes and sizes. Some people were very physically fit, some in between, some obese, it didn't matter. I can honestly appreciate how open and welcoming everyone was. It didn't feel that anyone was subconscious or insecure.
Well I can officially say I have yelped where a lot yelpers have not gone before....or if they have, they never wanted to tell anyone about it. Well I am here to breakdown the experience just in case you wanted to go or you just want to know what it's like.
I went on Saturday and it was $125 for couples and $75 for singles. I believe if you go during the week it may be cheaper. There is valet parking and when you enter you show you I.D. and type your information (your name, partner, e-mail address, etc.) into the computers in the lobby.
The entire establishment is BYOB. You can bring as many mixers, bottles, etc. as you want. They give you a number and you have your refreshments moved from the front bar, pool bar, back bar etc. The bartenders will serve you with your own alcohol.
They give you towels and a locker. to store your items. When you first walk in, it's a lounge area with a reasonably sized bar. There is also a buffet section, with food here! I don't know how sanitary it is...I had no desire to try it, especially since it was all breakfast food. They had a chef making omelets which your choice of mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, and cheeses. They also had fruit, cereal, sausage, etc. It did not seem that appetizing, but I guess when in Rome people get hungry so it's helpful.
So before coming I heard there was a dance floor. I came on a Saturday night prime time after 1AM and there was NO ONE on the dance floor. So if you cam here to dance, you have come to the wrong place, unless you are bringing the party with you.
After you pass the initial lounge area, there are private rooms, public rooms, double sided mirror rooms, then you go all the way to the back and there is a pool ,3 Jacuzzis, and two bungalows and the pool bar. There is also the back bar and more lounging area. The place is a lot bigger than one would expect.
Bottom line is you will be shocked. No matter what you have experienced already it's a very surreal feeling. There is no pressure to do anything, but if you want to this is definitely the place to do it. I definitely had fun. I'm not sure if I would be back to this particular establishment, but I would highly suggest going if you are open minded, curious, and looking for a good time.
If you think you've seen everything, you've never been to Trapeze. I was first brought here by a cop, yes, a police officer! He was a friend that was hired to work security, which boggled my mind considering the entire building is full of sexual debauchery making security unnecessary. I digress.
Every room is a new adventure. The lighting, the décor, the noises, the people...there is so much going on and I was blinking so fast I thought for sure I was about to go in to a full on seizure.
When I first walked in and was greeted by a massive buffet, my own bottle of champagne and a stripper pole; I thought I was in heaven. Every room is very dark, only random can lights in the ceiling light your way from one area to the next. Even standing in line to get a locker, I could barely see, which may have been a good thing. I was so nervous I was shaking. You are given a towel, a key to a locker and than told to wear whatever you want. Did I mention I was shaking? I almost threw up. I didn't have the guts to go nude but I am proud of a few body parts so I showed as much as I could soberly talk myself in to. I stood in line in front of a black double door with the rest of the nervous crowd. The door was opened by a loud female/male/no idea; I was told good luck and slapped on the ass.
Luck? I needed it. I walked in to a large bar area, with couches and random chairs. This place was packed. Obviously everyone else needed to get a little more drunk to handle what was behind the second set of double doors. Behind the next door was a long hallway, with rooms off to the side filled with mattresses and piles of people and than smaller rooms with signs that say "couples only." which was confusing because...well, when in Rome. And no, I didn't so don't ask!! I was on official business remember, I was dropping off security and just happened to wander inside, yeah...thats it!
The room full of mattresses was probably the highlight because of the bright white latex mattresses, the dull light above and the people either laying still on the bed, watching (like me) or participating. In this room everything seemed to be in slow motion. it almost looked like art. It was so graphic yet beautiful.
There were more double doors to the back and I instantly smelled chlorine and got excited. Behind these doors was a large pool and several hot tubs around the surrounding wall areas and an odd palm tree bar in the corner. It was low lit, I could hear laughter and each hot tub was full of people drinking and doing everything but quietly enjoying the hot water. I dipped my feet in the shallow end of the pool and looked around, only catching a glimpse of what surrounded me every time I puffed on my cigar and the red burn of the tip lit a small area around me.
Trapeze is a feast for your eyes and your senses. The lights are just low enough that your imagination goes crazy yet your eyes are so overloaded you walk away wondering "did I really see that?!" Yes!!! Yes, you did!
My friend and I went here last night for the first time. Let me say that is phenomenal. If you are looking for a place where you can completely leave an inihibitions at the door, this is it. It is a very nice establishment with a nice bar area, lounge area/play area, and even an area with a pool and hot tubs. The atmosphere and people were great!!!  It is a  little on the  pricey side ($125), but worth every penny. I recommend this place to any couple who wants to add a little spice to their relationship. You will not be disappointed.
Review Source:I wrote a review about this establishment during my previous Yelp membership. Unfortunately, I'm guessing when you delete your account, it takes all of your reviews with it. That sucks because I've written some great reviews but I digress.
Trapeze was my Wal-Mart of adult entertainment. I'm a one-stop shop kind of girl so I enjoyed being able to eat, drink, watch TV, listen to music, mingle with people, lounge around, dance, get wet, sleep, get wet for real, get some ass, and start all over again.
The atmosphere was comfortable and the venue didn't remind you of a seedy hotel. I was actually pretty plush with a spacious front area, a mingle area with decent sofas and chairs, comfy private areas (some with lockable doors for real privacy) and others with curtains, a decent lounge and billiards area towards the back and plenty of pool and jacuzzi room.
Aw, how I miss playtime. *wink*
Ok, so I have always been quite curious about the swinger's lifestyle and this is my first occasion of it. Â I had read on the website the prices for your membership and they were a bit steep for a single male, obviously trying to get more females in the door, so decided to invite a friend that was open minded that just happened to be a female to save some money. Â It ended up being 4 of us, all friends, 2 guys and 2 girls.
This is one of the craziest places that I have ever been. Â It is considered to be a "Private Membership Club" which allows you to bring your own booze. Â They put your # right on a sticker on your particular bottle. Â There are a couple of different bars and you just ask the tender to move it from location to location. Â Beyond the curtains and the huge fish bowl of condoms is where the magic happens. Â The themes are abundant but the ass seems to be a little redundant. Â There are many regulars there who tend to keep to their kind but after a few drinks it eases the tension for the "virgins". Â I highly recommend visiting at least once to open your eyes to the other side. Â Let me know if you have any questions and I will be more than happy to elaborate! Â Good luck and make sure to wear your lucky underwear if any at all.
