Trenton Market and Cafe

This is what an adventurer wants to find. Driving the road less traveled (US 41) from Milwaukee to Florida, we stumbled into the tiny town of Trenton, Kentucky (population 400) and found the Trenton Market and Cafe. Get ready for different. General Store/Antique Shop/Coffee shop all in under 1000 square feet. three matronly ladies in gingham aprons prepare and serve the meals and staff the retail operations as well. A score of contented noon lunch guests filled the available tables for some real down home, ok maybe not down home, but home cooking at least. Helen had a huge chicken salad sandwich and mine was a Rubin. Both were filling and delicious. I don't know if I will ever have the opportunity to return, but if I am anywhere near here, I will stop in.
