  We came to Mississippi from. Detroit to visit family, and were taken to The Turn, an unassuming little restaurant in a golf club in Corinth.  While its decor and ambience are nondescript casual, the food and service are top-notch.
  
  One of our party started the meal with a shrimp cocktail.  The shrimp were freshly cooked and hadn't had a chance to completely cool off, but they were very tasty and the cocktail sauce was horseradishly fiery.
  
  We all had dinner salads that came with the various meals.  The salads were composed of romaine lettuce, a variety of cut up vegetables, grapes, some grated cheese, and some delicious croutons.  I had a raspberry vinaigrette dressing that was clearly house made - not the usual food-service bottled dressing.  Others had a cheesy house dressing that they enjoyed.
  
  I ordered the yellowfin tuna special, which was cooked rare and was perfect.  It came with a thin white sauce and a few capers.  The only criticism would be that the server probably should have asked how I wanted the fish cooked.  I wanted it rare so I was happy, but another in my party expected it to be well-done and was quite disappointed.  However the server brought her portion back to the kitchen (twice) to coax the chef to grill the tuna some more.
  
  Two others in our party got steaks, rare, and were very satisfied with the results.  
  
  The side dish with the tuna was braised chard (with a little bit of bacon) and it was delicious.
  
  For dessert we shared two pieces of restaurant's orange cake, which resembles a creamsicle.  It includes white chocolate chips and was a nice ending to the meal.
  
  The prices at this restaurant were not as low as one might expect from superficially appraising the premises (remember nondescript casual?), however based on the quality and variety of the food I think the menu prices are justified.
