I can't say enough about this place...stumbled upon it after visiting friends nearby and thought it had the most creative ambience I've seen in a long time...but also real down to earth, real cool vibe, really nice people... Â The food was great too, felt like home-cooked straight from my own mother. Â In the evening we went back at night and met some really awesome locals from the town. Â The bar was superfun, hahaha, Â and the bartenders extra attentive. :) The place is so huge in the back that I wonder why more bands or festivals couldn't easily take place here. Â Its' definitely a place to check out, even for coffee in the morning...very relaxing...love it and will be back!!!!!!!! Â
P.S. Â I think Norwood could definitely find its way on the map right along with Telluride....Norwood in itself seems like a hidden gem of Colorado...stunning views and beautiful country.,, Â Every town needs a good coffee shop/bar/restaurant to bring people together, and this place has it ...ummm, has it all actually...definitely going to be a landmark one day, if not already... Â Thank you to whoever''s in charge over there!! Good times!!
Two Candles is a great spot. Unique and eclectic design -- make sure to check out the big room with the bar and the tree and the parachute ceiling!
Ok, I'm vegetarian, and they don't have much for a vegetarian on the dinner menu. But, the "refrigerator salad" is actually a great salad and more than enough to make a dinner out of it. Left me happy and full on multiple nights.
Also came for breakfast a few times, for some great pancakes.
My carnivorous colleague seemed very happy with the place, too, as he was the one who first brought me here and had already been here several times.
And the staff? So friendly and nice!
I saw another review complain that service was too slow. Yes, it was slow, but it felt right for the space -- like you are supposed to hang out and dinner and relax and enjoy the experience and the ambiance.
