Only reviewing the beer selection. Limited selection on tap, nothing that great. Waitress on duty the night I was there didn't know how to pour either a Guinness or a Black and Tan. Waitresses seemed more interested in playing games the paying attention to the customers (unless they were flirting with them).

Apparently this establishment thinks that offering Guinness on tap and dressing your bar wenches in plaid mini skirts is enough to brand your bar as an Irish Pub. Most of their offerings consist of cheap lagers and bottom-shelf liquors; they don't even offer a 10-year scotch! I'm pretty sure the owners of this business have never even been to a traditional pub. let alone Ireland.
However, taking the local demographics into account, I seriously doubt that any of their regular Moses Lake patrons are cultured or well-traveled enough to know the difference between a true European-style public house and what this place is-- your average neighborhood bar with fake wood beams and some shamrocks glued to the walls. Additionally, the establishment is pretty clean and their drinks are reasonably-priced.
If you just want a decent drink and aren't bothered by aesthetics or false advertising, you probably won't mind this place one bit.

I finally got the chance to check out Tymmy's this past Friday night for dinner and a brew.  The location is great and the interior is small, but cute. The music was so loud that conversation around our small table couldn't be heard unless we were yelling. Beer selection was decent and they had a small 1-page menu offering a few appetizers, sandwiches and pizzas from Papa Murphy's. (Weird!)  The appetizer we ordered described bread sticks wrapped in bacon.  Instead, they were bread sticks with a slice of bacon laying over the top.  They were good though.  The sandwiches left a lot to be desired.  They contained maybe 2 or 3 deli-thin slices of turkey, the wrong kind of cheese, slimy, wilted lettuce and soggy tomato slices.  The sandwiches were about the size I'd feed a 4 year old, really not much more substance than the two pieces of bread.  And then when we got the bill, it showed the wrong sandwiches (which explained the wrong type of cheese). After spending $40+ (bread sticks, 2 sandwiches & 2 beers), we were still hungry when we left so we had to go eat again somewhere else.  I don't plan on wasting money on food here again.

Sorry I just wasn't very impressed. Not much to speak of in the menu offerings (it's a chalkboard with 2-3 items on it) and not very "Irish". I guess I expected more from it. I'm not sure the bar is the same one. The one I saw had a granite top as I recall, not wood. There really isnt a lot of "woodwork" in the place, and what is there seems to be almost forced, a little awkward, like it doesnt belong.
They do offer Ironhorse Brewing products (out of Ellensburg), and the Irish Death is pretty amazing on tap. However renaming "509 Pale Ale" as "Tymmy O Sheas Irish Ale" seems kind wrong to me. I've been to Irish Pubs before. Several. Owned by real Irish People. From Ireland. This wasnt it. Taco Bell is Mexico City to Mexican Food in comparison  as this place is to Irish Pubs.
Staff was pleasant and attentive, perhaps a little slow to respond by some peoples standards. For me it was just okay.
I guess if putting all the staff in "outfits" and building your own bar are the requirements for calling ones business an "Irish Pub" then sign me up! I have left over dresses from my sister's Parochial School days, and I have a sheet of plywood and a couple garbage cans. I figure I'll open it up as "Lahrry O Flannigans Irish Garage Pub" :-)
In short I don't see it as being any better or more worthy a visit than any of the other 'Hole in the wall" bars in Moses Lake. A pig wearing lipstick is still a pig. And a guy wearing a plaid skirt doesnt make him Irish.

Tymmy O'Sheas is as good as nightlife gets in Moses Lake!  The bar has a friendly staff, good beer and live bands.  I went to opening night here and the place was packed.  They have a good appetizer menu also.

The waitresses and bar staff are the highlight of the bar!  Also there are a lot of beers on tap to choose from.  I would recommend this place to anyone!
