Ugly Bar & Grill the

AWESOME hick bar!  but that's it.

At first, we debated on whether it was safe enough to have a drink at this bar in the middle of nowhere, but it was relatively quiet.  We arrived just as the live band was packing up.  YEEHAW!!!  They were jamming rap, hip hop, and Verve Pipe.  Yes, Verve Pipe, on the jukebox.  Interesting.

Taking in the scene: there were the stereotypical drunkards, drifters, guys plotting which of them had dibs on each of us, and a few others playing pool.

It is the perfect hick-middle-of-no-where bar.  We danced, taught the bartender to make a new shot, and everyone was having fun.  The bartender went shot for shot with anyone, and the more she drank the louder she turned up the jukebox.  I would not recommend women visit this place alone or in less than three or four others, but what do you expect.      

I think I saw some semblance of a kitchen behind the bar as well. Didn't even consider ordering food from this place.
