Uncle Albert's Fried Chicken

I give the food itself five stars. The food is AMAZING!!!  The price is good especially for what you get.

The only reason I gave it four was that its pretty dirty and the ventilation is poor, it gets pretty smokey from the cooking, and I would wait and use a restroom somewhere else.

We had the three piece chicken, the Big Al burger, and onion rings. The chicken by far stole the show with the onion rings in a close second.

I would eat there again, maybe use the drive through, and would highly recommend!

It's a nice little place in a dying town. Just pull off of the Interstate and you'll see the store on Highway 1. It's by far the best chicken I've ever had, and the coleslaw is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! If you stop by, make sure to pick up their number, since they do accept call ahead orders.

It takes seriously good fried chicken to make my fancy girl wife eat caveman style.  Uncle Albert's fried chicken is that good. Unassuming little place in Boyce, just north of Alexandria, LA. Spicy fried chicken has a nice kick to it.  Great place for a snack on road trips to New Orleans. Try it.
