Happened to come across this local favorite. Whatta a find !
My journey started while being held over for the weekend of Mothers Day in Utica NY. I was told about...and brought too by two of the nicest people I have met in quite some time.
After arriving at Uncles Bar I was quickly introduced to everyone in the place. While being a NY'er myself it brought back long ago memories of the local bars I grew up with in NYC. This kind of warm and a... since past...true feeling of your among friends...like long ago... is alive and well at Uncles  
A true local neighborhood bar that is well worth finding...even "IF" you might have to walk there...Just run !
