Variety Pizza House

A few friends and I walked into Variety Pizza and waited for a minute in hopes that the woman at the counter would tell us what to do, because we had never been there before. At last I asked her and she told us to take a seat and found some menus for us. A moment later one of my friends asked her where the bathroom was, and she simply ignored her. She didn't greet any of us. Since our group was ethnically diverse, we weren't sure if she was being racist or just rude. Either way, we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave. Obviously I can't say anything about the quality of the food, but the quality of the service was pretty awful.

Oh my... Such good food and friendly people.

This fabulous pizza place across from Paul's motel is very famous in the neighborhood for their ham hoagies and fresh fudge. I especially like the smiling faces and warm welcomes as you enter this establishment. The people in this restaurant value it so much that they have brought their kids here and reminisced about the days their parents bought them here as children. There is a sense of pride and lasting memories that are spread across this restaurant; and it is a blessing to find such a unique place that touches the hearts of locals. You will enjoy this place, its food, and the great conversations with the owners and locals. :)
