  Unfortunately, it appears that this place is now closed; I drove by yesterday looking for the place hoping for a sunset drink, but the Keauhou Beach Resort is empty and gated off, and apparently has relocated up the road as the Outrigger Beach Resort.

  Really nice bar/lounge area. It overlooks the beach/water. You can see turtles/fish over the railing. & this is an AMAZING place to watch the sunset.

  The Verandah Lounge is a nice place to grab a bite and/or a drink and enjoy the sunset. You're actually sitting over the tidal pools where turtles and fish gather. We stayed at the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort and if we weren't someplace else on the island at sunset, we made sure we were parked here with a cold one to celebrate another beautiful sunset in paradise. The view here is better that that at some of the places in Kona town with all the trees and power lines on Alii drive. Caution: if busy, expect long waits for a server. They seem to be under staffed at times.

  Overlooking the fish pond and ocean, a great place for cocktails and pupu's. Kick back and watch the sunset-breathtaking.
  Entertainment on Sunday afternoons.
  I like the Kalua Pork Nachos.
