Villa Grove Trade

This restaurant is in Villa Grove, not Moffat, I eat at the Trade often. I concur with Andy V, the food is great. Not a vegan, or close, my favorite is the buffalo burger with sweet potato fries. Living 30 minutes away doesn't deter me from driving down for an americano and an oatmeal cookie that's often 8 inches across. My wife's favorite is the brownie, very rich. Folk music on the weekends is just icing on a goodtime.

Don't let the outside fool you. You need to stop here for food, baked goods, and coffee. Five firefighters stopped in and left incredibly happy. We had frito pie w/buffalo chili,  a cinnamon latte, cherry pie, coconut pie, and chocolate cream pie. The topper for me as a near vegan was hands down the best veggie burger I've ever had. No boca burger here, just real veggies.  The staff were incredibly friendly and took great care of everyone who came in. I'm not from the area but will definitely stop again the next time I am. Best food and baked goods on our trip so far.  No joke.

Edit: forgot to mention the good music. Arcade Fire, Gary Jules, Radiohead,  Bright Eyes, Modest Mouse. All in one meal. Excellent music.
