Vinny Ray's BBQ

This BBQ establishment just opened within the past couple of weeks in my hometown of Bethel, Ohio. Hearing rave reviews from several of my friends, I figured that I would give this place a try, being the big BBQ fan that I am.

LOCATION: Vinny Ray's is located in the parking lot of Bethel Feed and Supply, right on West Plane Street. You literally cannot miss it. The establishment itself is a walk up trailer with a smoker and picnic tables nearby.

PRICE: Prices are in-line with similar establishments found elsewhere. Prices here are higher than of other restaurants in and around the Bethel area, but the quality here definitely is worth the extra cost. I got a 1/2 rack of ribs, a drink, and a side of baked beans for right around $13. This establishment does not accept credit or debit cards, cash only so be prepared.

FOOD: As stated previously, I had the 1/2 rack of ribs with a side of baked beans. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, the sauce homemade with noticeable brown sugar. It ranks up there in my book with Montgomery Inn (still my favorite). The baked beans were flavorful with chunks of bacon which was better compared to the ones I've had at other establishments.

Other items on the menu include pulled pork, BBQ meatballs, and your usual BBQ joint fare. The menu is limited at this time, but the menu I'm sure will expand in the future. Definitely a solid choice for BBQ on the East Side, and I will be back to try their other offerings!
