LOOKS
First off, what a GREAT space! Â The restaurant is large with many nooks and an upper loft space to get comfortable in with a group or just by yourself. Â As a person who enjoys working/studying from coffee shops, Vino's is definitely a place I could "set up camp" and settle into for a few hours to get some work done. I asked if they offered Wifi and they do which is a plus. Â Definitely a place I could see myself working from, especially with all the good beers on tap - yup, not offered at Starbucks. :)
DRANK
The bar area also caught my eye upon walking in. Â Well done, and again, a GREAT beer selection. Â When I heard the name Vino's Pizzeria I thought they'd just have good wine and then your standard 2-3 beers. Â I was pleasantly surprised when I saw so many craft beers! Â (Dead Guy being my favorite - they also have their own Vino's homebrew which was quite good as well). Â
FOOD
I'm definitely coming back for the hamburger and the club sandwich. Â My friends were really impressed with the burger which is strange coming from a place with Pizzeria in the title, but nonetheless I'd say just ORDER it and see for yourself. Â We got a few appetizers and my favorite ended up being the artichoke dip that comes with these AMAZING bow-tied fried pasta shells for dipping. Â THEY ARE ADDICTING and not at all greasy.. just some fun, interesting type of crunchy snack. Â For a suggestion, I'd like seeing them not just come with the artichoke dip but also with the queso and marinara... a trio of sorts. Â
OVERALL
Great environment.  Our server was attentive and everyone was really friendly and  the place was clean.  If I think about this place, it's more of a sports bar because of all the great TV's, the beer and the other good food (not just the pizza).  Seems like a great place to go with your friends and hangout or just go to get some work done, like I would do.  **5 stars for this place!
For Jonesboro, AR it's good. Extra star for having Dead Guy on tap.
I think Vino's is still figuring out what it is. Pizzeria? Sports bar?
My visit was during lunch. Service was a bit sketchy and the menu uninspiring.
Ordered a sandwich I was warned was "really spicy", it wasn't, I didn't finish it. Also tried the pizza, it was OK but I am a bit of a pizza snob.
The restaurant was newly finished but someone apparently lost their mind in the bathroom; ripped the handicap rails off and punched holes in the wall. Definite turnoff.
Going to give them another try once they get some traction.
Fantastic!!!!! Top notch service, delicious food and fun ambiance.
We live in Houston but were here visiting my parents. Wanted to watch the Texans game and found out this place had NFL game ticket and headed this way after church.
First the service. The servers were just precious. Very sweet and quick and just all around awesome. A+ for service.
Next, the drinks. Have a good wine selection, good beer selection, and great mixed drinks. Especially for a dry county. A+ for drinks.
I am GF so I had the mediterranean salad with grilled chicken. Â Super tasty. Â Family had the pizza and loved it. Â
Overall, this is a solid place (that ISN'T your typical "olive garden" chain type place -- sorry, but I like my food freshly prepared and not frozen). Â I'd recommend it toanyone.
I was there with extended family on a busy Sunday evening. I immediately noticed the cool, loft-like feel, with some original hardwood flooring.
We ordered pretzels for an appetizer, and they were warm, buttery, generously-sized and delicious.
The menu includes specialty pizzas, sandwiches, salads and a variety of appetizers. I chose the Dirty Bird sandwich, with grilled turkey, cheddar, onion, horseradish sauce and pepper jelly on a pretzel bun. While my mom, sitting next to me, thought it sounded disgusting, it was delicious.
Spicy, yet a tiny bit sweet from the pepper jelly (I assume), it tasted fresh and the flavors combined beautifully.
Decent wine selection and the bar looks like it could be a great place to come just to enjoy drinks with friends or to watch a game on the flat-screen TVs.
Prices are reasonable and service is excellent. We'll be back next time we're in town.
The pizza was the only thing good about the visit. After waiting in the doorway for a few minutes the hostess showed up to 3 waiting groups. She ask us the order we arrived. We were first in line. She promptly took the couple behind us and seated them. What? Then she took us upstairs to our table.
Our waitress arrived, took our drink order and disappeared. Several minutes later she arrived with water, not our ordered drinks, took our food order and vanished again. Time passed and she showed up with our drinks. Finally the food arrives, it is rudely placed on the table and we are left to ourselves.
Midway through the pizza my drink is empty and 3 attempts later I got her attention to refill it. Gone again for several minutes then back with my drink. She takes my wife's refill order with the same speed and gusto.
We are talking and the eating has slowed when she returns. She asks if we need another drink when we say no and are quickly offered our check.
We ask for a to go box when she brought the receipt for the meal back and are promised one. Several minutes and two more failed attempts to get a to go box result in the tip being changed from 20% to $0.
If we go back there it will be because I am being forced to go back because it won't be free will.
Vino's recently opened, and I took the family there. Â It's right in the heart of downtown jonesboro, and it is a great fit. Â Lots of Flatscreens, some outdoor seating, good well trained waitstaff. Â The bar looks pretty stocked and the interior is open, it has an upstairs with more seating and darts and of course Golden Tee.
Pretty decent wine selection (yes, they have malbec) and lots of beers. Â Because this is a dry county, I don't believe they can brew their own beer here in town but they have it on tap along with a nice selection.
I saw good variety of people there from families to college kids to locals looking to watch a game.
The NY style pizza was pretty good, definitely a top 3 here in town...but it's the pizza/sport pub atmosphere that will keep people coming back. Â I will be one of those people.
