We stopped in for an early lunch on the way home from the mountains. Â The restaurant was nearly empty around 11:30 on a Wednesday morning. Â There was a crew of five country girls working and they obviously enjoyed working together.
Our waitress was friendly and refilled our drinks quickly. Â I ordered a chicken melt with scattered and covered. Â The melt was hot and cheesy and the chicken was moist, just the way I like it. Â The scattered and covered was what I expected from frozen hash browns covered in yellow cheese. Â They are really just a vessel for ketchup.
All in all, pretty standard Waffle House fare. Â The women's restroom was remarkably clean. Â An A-OK Waffle House experience.
